Dry sanding ?

Some of the new 2 pack hi fill primers require dry sanding. I'm using wet & dry paper and it clogs real fast. Is there a particular paper for dry sanding these primers ? Right now I'm sanding with 320 for the final guide coat rub as 400 just clogs immediately.

Normally we just use a 320 "Dry" paper (not the black looking wet/dry).
You can buy the dry paper (normally a white/light gray) looking color as 8 1/2 x 11 sheets. Then fold this in half and tear the sheets so you have 2 halves.
Then tri-fold each halve when you use it. This should fit neatly in the palm of your hand.
Sometimes you can just use a piece of DA paper and just fold it in half.

G'Day TAZ,
I always thought that the white paper was for wood etc....I've used it in a coarse grade to strip paint and noticed how well it worked... any way I've learn't something today....Thanks for the heads up.
Rob.

Yep, they make it in 'fine' grit to.
The only thing we use the black wet paper is to sand before buffing.
