dtm epoxy primer

Getting ready to paint my bike,I have chemically stripped it down to metal.I'm going to use dtm epoxy primer.Do I need to seal the epoxy before the basecoat?

do you mean use a sealer on the bare metal before shooting the dtm??? But no you don't need to seal the primer before shooting your base color coat. The primer can be used over bare metal providing it has been properly prepped. It can also be applied over oem primers.

thanks,that was I was thinking,but someone told me I would need to seal the primer prior to base coat
