Hi, I was Looking at Dupli-color's mirage kit. And was Just wondering. could i change/add to the color by adding other colors into the paint job before clear coat and still have the same changing color effect?

Example - Gold/Magenta Mirage kit(or maybe MIRAGE ICE) + yellow and green METALCAST candy colors + effex Clear Coat

You could probably start with the Duplicolor site and maybe find a distributor.

Most likely you will need to stay with the directions. You usually need to spray a black coat first, then spray the Mirage.

:luck:

Ya thats what i was planing, could i spary The blackbasee, and then Some candy colors? or would i spray the black base then the mid that comes with the kit, Then some candy colors? maybe go back over that with the Mid until its where i like it? then clear it all off with the effex.

Not for sure what type of effect you are going for. If you want candy, then you should just paint a metallic color with some candy over it. If you want the color change, just spray the black base with the Mirage over it.
If you candy over the Mirage, I think you will lose the color change effect.
