Dupont Centari

I painted my car with black Dupont Centari. To the best of my knowledge this is not a bb/cc finish. However, is there any type of clear that can be applied?

Yes you can apply clear , you'll need to 'scuff' the paint in order for it to stick , use at least 800 grit or finer . Just decide what brand you want to use (DuPont , PPG , etc) and go from there .

Thanks, So basically it does not matter what brand I decide to use as a clear coat?

Be carefull about what clear you pick,most clears talked about here are urethane and Centari is acrylic enamel.Go to the paint store and look at the Centari P bulletin,it'll list compatable clears you can use.
