I've been away from auto paint since I was a young pup, 18 - 20 years ago.
I'm wanting to do alittle painting again, for fun.
Looking at the products out now is alittle daunting.
I have a bike I want to paint but I don't want to dive into the deep end just yet.
If I understand right, Nason is alittle cheaper and user friendly than the higher end Dupont products???
What is your oppinion on this line??
Or am I better off putting out the $$$$ for the pricier stuff???

i "think" that the most important part is the protective qualities of the clear. just about any base system will work, if it works for you. some are better than others.

i've used nason, but prefer crossfire from napa

nason-
cheeper yes, easier to use not always the case.

Hoss nailed it right. The Nason is cheap, & it does work good but the mixing ratio's are a pain in the rear. I used it for about 3 yrs. & quit because my local jobber wouldn't keep anyone around that could mix the paint right. Too many times of getting the right paint code & formula but wrong color, had to go in and mix it my self. Didn't have time to do their job & still have to pay them. So I went back to PPG & use alot of their Omni line of paint.
All right I'll stop ranting.:yesnod01: :yesnod01:
