Dust!!!

Since I'm painting in my garage, I always get a few specks of dust in the paint. I've tried wetting everything down and have swept meticulously. I have had to wet sand my sealer primer to get the dust out, but have heard you can't sand a metallic basecoat. Will the dust show through my candy and clear and can I wetsand the candy and clear if I have to.

Thanks again for answering all my "newbie" questions, Maybe some day I too will be able to help New painters not make the same mistakes I have.

you know what i have is one of those ionizer..
mines an old sears model.. but if you are just painting small stuff.. hey cheap..
but yeah stay away from windy days!

Well looks like I solved my own problem. A few damp sheets hung around work area, work great at letting air flow and keep dust to a minimum
