emblem removal

hi guys, i am about to start a paint job on my 05 nighttrain but i am wondering the best way to remove the gas tank emblems and the reflectors off the rear fender. Thanks.

take dental floss and saw back and forth behind the emblem. then take goo gone adhesive remover to remove the glue. (3m works well too, but not quite as good in my opinion.)

you can get goo gone from the cdleaning section in walmart.

And if you find you're breaking all your floss you can try fishing line too.

that will work for the reflector on the rear fender and the ones on the front forks as well? would heating it up help?

should work on all stickers, and a little heat never hurt. a little heat, don't over do it.
