Enamel on Jeep suspension

My neighbor wants me to paint his Jeep's suspension with some tractor paint he picked up at Tractor Supply. I havn't opened it yet, but when I shake the can it feels thick. I am using a Sprayfine Turbine HVLP. I was wondering if any one knew what to reduce this with.

What 'type' of paint does the label say it is.
Does the label say it is an 'enamel'?
Also, what brand it is?
Does it also require to be catalyzed?

My guess would be it is an enamel (single-stage) that requires to be catalyzed. It probably also has it's own reducer, but you MIGHT be able to use any enamel reducer.

Let me know.

look up the brand online and see if you can get the msds sheet to print out, or just look at. that should tell you the reduction ratio and what hardner to use. what size tip do you have in your gun?

Yep, I know just what your talking about! Talk about tar... We used Naptha to reduce it. That stuff shines like crazy and is pretty tough too.
