Fender Rivets

I was showing my neighbor your web site last night (he owns a Harley Road King) and he was blown away at the paint jobs you do! He did ask what is the deal with shaving down the fender rivets? Doesn't that weaken the hold to the bracket?

Tell him thanks for the compliment. I think he would crap if he walked in right now and saw 40 receont jobs that just came in the last month.

As far as shaving the rivets, not only do we shave the rivets, but we weld the bracket to the inside of the fender to make up for the loss of the rivets.
