Fenders & Tank Shipping Weight

I am in the process of preparing a shipping container for my fenders and tank to be shipped from Bahrain to Custom Flame Painting. I would like to know a good estimate of the weight of an 2002 Fatboy rear fender and tank, and a Heritage front fender?

The weight I am looking for is just the weight of the parts after painting, no packing material or bolt on pieces.

You guys have any good estimates from your vast experience in shipping these items??

Thanks,
Tra

Older post, but just to let everyone know, the tanks weigh in about 23 pounds, the front fender weighs about 15 pounds, the rear fender weighs about 18 punds. Stretch tanks weigh in about 40 pounds. These are "packed" weights.

I was on Bahrain in 1985. Just wondering how you're going to protect your beautiful CFP job from all that blowing sand??? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/2idea.gifIt might be wiser to save the shipping cost and just pay to move your butt to the USA where you can ride it in relative paint safety. Enjoy. Good luck with your new paint job. You'll love it!
