ScottieB, I did the lowering kit myself. I purchased the brackets and spacers on Ebay. I cut off the old brackets and welded the new ones in place to my taste. After welding, I seam sealed all the edges to prevent rust.

Twincamm88B, I have painted a few cars in the garage, and several R/C helicopter canopies. But I have never attempted any really complicated patterns. Most of the time my color combos look like crap to me. This time I just got lucky.

I will post some more pics when I get more time.

I did the same thing with my Road King 5 years ago. Bought it off ebay, welded to my liking, and seam sealed the edges. No signs of rust after 30k miles.
