Finishline 2 - tip and cap questions

I ordered a Finishline 2 HVLP Gravity feed gun. It's coming with a 1.4 & 1.6 tips and a #3 cap. I'm using HOK paints. I'm looking to get some recommendations on tip and cap sizes. Are the ones that it comes with good enough for everything from the primer to the final clear (UC-35)? I'm looking to try out some HOK candy paint soon also.

If I need to get some different size tips and caps are there any good online shops to get them from?

I think you're probably fine. I've been using a 1.6 tip on my low-end Sears HVLP for everything from primer to clear, including both metallic and solid bases. The 1.4 tip you have will likely give you even better results. You might want to go to the larger tip if you try any of the HoK 1/64" flakes, since they admit those are rather hard to spray, though.</cr>

The 1.4 will give you better atomization of base and clear(less peel) but it's probably a touch small for primers.Since you're using one gun for everything make sure you clean that thing spotless between products.Primers dry fast and there's nothing like a primer spit in your clear to make you invent a few more words.
