Not that autozone red spot putty. I cant wait to get this project going, first time and the bike is 90% made by me, put motor together, frame even laced the wheels. now pait time. Theres some green stuff called icing that any body supply shop can sell you. Spread it on sand it down smooth and shoot your guide coat (I use the stand back a few feet and shoot some black from a rattle can method) then sand the guide coat off, hit it with a post sanding cleaner and prime away. Works for me. AL

Some guys use a polyester primer which is pretty much a thinned down sprayable bondo type filler,or one of the Evercoat products which I really like, from thier thick Rage filler to the thinner flowable stuff.Dries quick and finishes real nice.Jim

Whoa! Bare metal must be acid washed or use a self etching primer first to prevent corrosion. Then spray your high build and block. You'll regret it if you skip this first step.
