I think they look good. What color or colors do you plan on painting them?

I think Im going to do gold then a candy blue and leave a gold outline. Im just not sure about the layout. The more and more I look at it the more I want to make changes /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/foreheadslap.gif Oh well I guess if I mess it up Ill just redo it.

Looks great so far...what about a silver base, then the flames in blue. The silver outline will tie in with the rims?!?!
Don't know about the gold (with those rims /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bigokay.gif), especially when gold and silver base under candy really don't make too much of a difference at all under candy blue~~

Scott's got a good point on the silver, the gold will be a bit flashy. As far as the rest, shoot the damn thing and post the final pic, can't wait to see it.

Yeah thought about silver but I only have about 1/4 of a can left. You guys make a good point though, I might have to head down to the paint store tomorrow. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

I like the style and shape of the flames on the hood! Looks great. Definately show us what the finished result looks like.

Great job of being symmetrical. It has a nice smoothe flow to it. I wouldn't make to many changes. Most of the time the more complex you try and become, the more cluttered the work looks.
I think you've done a tremendous job. Keep the colors in tune with your base colors on the flames. It will mesh more as a complete job! Just my personal outlook. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bounce.gif

Oh Damn!! That turned out SWEET!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bigokay.gif

So did you do the shadows in pinstriping, or air brushed them?

and do you have any plans for the front bumper?

Thanks, I used fineline for the shadows. If I knew then what I know now I would have just used a airbrush. But oh well you live and learn. I took a pretty good break from the project. Im painting the bumper and grill today. Should be done soon! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bigokay.gif
