Hey guys I cought an edge and burnt through a spot about half the size of your pinky tip. I scuffed the area with 800 air brushed a little base over it then cleared it gradually widing the clear with each coat. Did I do it right. Will I be able to sand the clear and blend it in? If I'm wrong what should I have done?

Yeah, that's the basics to a blend.I 2000 the area my last coat of clear will be in and burn in the edge with a blending solvent but you should be able to buff it out.If it peels back bad you'll have to pull it back to the 800 and reclear. How's the spot of color look?Metallics and pearls like to halo if you use a smaller gun than it was first sprayed with.

I got it out. It was black base. It turned out good lucky it was black i guess. sanded it with 2000. It left a little edge around it. When I buffed it all went away. Thanks for the info.
