hokpaint.com has videos for newbies, but i've only ordered one. it's a pinstriping one, it's ok.

The best training I've seen for intertwining flames is Steve VanDemon's video "The Complete video Guide To Motorcycle Flames". He shows you how to do it step by step. This video is all you need to learn this style. It also helps you learn general techniques for custom painting. The video is spendy, but it's worth it. I think I bought mine from Coast Airbrush for about $35. You could check ebay, or spraydepot.com for a cheaper price. Jon Kosmoski made a couple videos also that helped me a lot.

ya i picked up Vandemons Ghost Flames, was a good place to start.

I ordered the craig fraser flames.I like how his looks like fluid. Have practiced them, but I'm using the wrong kind of paints.

Some good books out there to.

Probably should get a basic beginners prep/paint book (or video), then once you get the hang of that, start into the 'custom' painting field.
Practice each step!!!
