I NEVER SPRAYED BC/CC WITH FLATTENING AGENT IN IT SO HERE'S MY QUESTION. I WANT THE PRIMER LOOK BUT WITH BETTER DURABILITY I HATE RUST. WILL FLATTENING AGENT GIVE ME THE LOOK I'M AFTER? SECOND WHAT IF I SCREW IT UP? (RUNS, SAGS) CAN YOU WETSAND/BUFF FLATTENED CLEARCOAT? ANY IMPUT FROM YOU GUYS THAT HAVE BEEN AROUND THE BUSINESS FOR A WHILE WOULD BE APPRECIATED. OVERALL THE PAINT JOB WILL BE FLATBLACK WITH FLAT WHITE FLAMES

Flatening agent will work and you'll have to get a chart from the paint store to know how much will give what effect-like flat, eggshell, semigloss, etc.See if they have the clear prepackaged as flat or semigloss,it seems to hold up a little better than making it yourself. If something happens like a sag all you can do is block it out and reclear it,if you touch compound or polish to it by buffer or hand it'll gloss up a bit.
