One of friends has a real ruff body black flat paint model T,mechanicall it rocks.
I was thinking it would be cool to lay out blue pearl flames on it , since I have a big stash of
pearls. But the top coat of clear would need to be flatened to work? is this possible?

Yes it is,most paint manufacturers make at least a flattening agent to add in to make eggshell, semigloss or completely flat depending how much you add. Some prepackage it in semi and flat and that would be the best choice. It does reduce the longevity of the finish though because they start to chalk out over time.Would look cool though.Oh,welcome to Scott's site.

PPG DCU2060 is a flat clear... you can add other PPG clears to the mix to get more gloss if you need, say likea semi gloss....
