i've never used it either, but from what i've read, it will become a little more glossy after a buff. ?don't know how much more shinny?

no there's no buffing on the flat clear, at least none i've used. House of Kolor dupont or extreme. I did an old school bobber flat black with pinstripes. I had the tank hanging with wire in the booth when I took it down the wire put a small scratch on the top of the tank. I tried buffing, thinking it would come out but it took a shine real quick, luckily it wasn't very bad of a scratch and with the flat clear it didn't end up looking bad at all. customer was happy with it. I would recommend the flat clear from extreme it's premixed to a certain flatness and worked out real well for me. Hopefully you don't have much of a prob keeping dirt out, it helps that flat clear hides a lot.

if you get stuff in it you leave it or sand it down and do it again and pray for the the dust gods to leave it out!
