For peace of mind

I'm planning on painting my bike this winter with HOK's urethane system. I want to make sure I've got the steps down. I'm going to use a silver base, marbilizer, candy, and clear. These are the steps that I believe are correct:
1) Primer/sealer
2) Base
3) Marbilizer
4) Intercoat clear
5) Artwork
6) Intercoat clear
7) Candy
8) Final clear

Does this sound right? I also want to clearify something about intercoat clear. Does it matter how long you let it cure before you paint over it as long as you wetsand it first? For example, if I don't have time during the day to finish the entire job so I stop after Step 4 (intercoat clear). Will it cause any problems to pick up where I left off the next day as long as I scuff the intercoat before painting?

Any comments will be greatly appreciated

The steps look good but you can skip #6 if you can finish the same day. If it's going to sit over night then intercoat it. And if you're going to tape off the art while spraying the candy
then intercoat the artwork.
Let the SG100 air dry (about a half hour to one hour depending on shop cond.) and you can paint on it without scuffing, if it sits longer you can scuff with scotchbrite or 600grit. The intercoat actually leaves the 'window' time to finish the job wide open, as long as you scuff the intercoat
to give it some tooth. One more thing, READ THE DIRECTINS ON THE CAN! follow them and you can't go wrong. A quick tip, if you run out of HOK reducer, you can use PPG DT 870 reducer, as long as its non reactive reducer.
Let me know how it works,

Yes, that's all I use for HOK. As long as it's
non reactive reducer (DT) it will work fine.
