General Question-Ghost Flames

I have been recruited to paint 600 little Hot Wheels size motorcycles for a friend. Ultimately, they are to ghost flamed. If I can get decals printed, and the base colors of the bike will be dark red, what should the rainbow effect of the flame be, assuming I can get the colors done? My plan is to paint the bikes, put these decals on, and clear the bikes with tinted clear.
If I was to go another color, would the colors of the rainbow on the decals remain the same?

I would think that you would want something that stood out. Possibly a white to a silver fade on the flames. This way, you could also use these flames over any other base colors you come up with.
You may want to do a couple samples first just to make sure you are getting the effect you want, especially since you are adding a tinted clearcoat over the paint and flame decals.
