Hello gang, new member with a passion for painting...Just picked up an old Harley sprtr gas tank in decent shape(no dents) but its got a couple of coats of paint on it. should I strip it or sandbast it? What will it $ to have it sandblasted?

I'd go ahead and have it bead blasted. Probably run you about $24-$50. Make sure you don't touch the surface when you get it back. I would suggest even wearing rubber gloves when working on bare metal.

Be sure and get it etch primed as soon as you get it back.
