ghost flame

I have a custom black PU truck and am interested in a harlequin gold to purple flame paint job. I would like to know if the gold to purple would look ok with the black or would another color work better with black? I do like the ghost look though.

All the Harlequins look great over a black base. I just completed a silver/green Harlequin flame job over black. Should have pics in the "Samples of Work" section soon!

They do have a ghost effect (over black) until the sun hits it!!!
I believe the color chips that you see on the Harlequin chart are sprayed over a gray, so over black, they are nice and subtle.
