Ghost Flames over pearl

I would like to paint ghost flames on my Sporty tank. I like the stock White Pearl color so what color should I use for the flames? Also, can I blend the flames through the stock tank decal to make it look like the flames are shooting through the name? Beginner's questions....

The only problem I see is the edge of the decal showing if you just pearl right over it now.It is or should be cleared in but there isn't enough to sand flat without adding about 4 coats of high solid clear and sanding it to level it out first.The pearl to use depends on your color preferences and you can use anything,even putting more white pearl over it.I think the factory color is a fine pearl so you'd want to use the coarse white,or vice versa if I'm wrong.PPG has both whites in dry powder.

Thanks, Rex. I had also considered removing the decal altogther. There is clear over the decal and there are definite ridges around it. I didn't want to strip the entire tank. Maybe I can find a used tank and strip it down and do it right. We'll see. Thanks again.
