Ghost flames over white.

I am wondering if what is in my head can be put on my '67 Nova...
I want the car painted white (solid, or pearl) and I would like Candy red/crimson ghost flames on top...My question is, can it be done so the flames are invisible except under certain light?

why not spray your nova white and then spray your flames with a pearl, i think that is the look your after. check out House of color DP- 20 Rosetta Red Pearl

I usually just mix a VERY litle amount of pearl powder (in what ever color works for the particular application) in some clear and spray one or two thin coats and follow with regular clear. Works fine for me. Not completely invisible, but still a nice subtle effect.
