Hello everyone i'm a newbie to this site,like it. i'll cut to the chase- when doing ghost flames with candy and silver/gold base what is the best way to achive ghost flames? by contrasting bases like gold or silver or by using a pearl? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif

To add further, the BEST way is what ever way you like BEST . That's the beauty of custom painting. There really is no BEST way of doing things. It's all up to personal taste. Now, if you want to know what you like best, go tripping through Scott's examples of work, and then ask him how he achieved some of those looks. That should work for you.

Flamethrower's right. You can spray Candy Brandywine over a blue metallic if you want. You can mix candies and basecoats to create different candy colors.
