Good pearl colours for ghost flames?

Hello,
I was thinking of doing flames, probably ghost, on my bike, over the factory colour which is a deep royal blue, and I was wondering what colour would look sweet, the bike is a crotch rocket so I want it to look real hot. I was also wondering if it would be easier just to start from metal and try to match the factory colour. I was also wondering how I should go about ghosting the logo on the tank. Thanks very much for all your help sorry about the length and number of questions.

For ghost flames you can go with pearls or flake or kameleon colors. It all depends on what you like. What you can also do is spray silver or white around the outer edges inside your flame design then come back with a kandy kolor similar to your bikes color.

For ghosting a logo I suggest you go to a sign shop and have them cut vinyl for your mask.

For a crotch rocket I would go on the factory paint. If you take it down to the plastic you will have problems.
I did the logos on a friends R1. Probably close to the color you have. I used cobalt blue and they pretty good.
