Got a few ???\'s on Candy colors
I will soon be repainting my 67 Camaro, and I am considering using candy colors for the first time.
I have heard that you need to "walk" the car when painting candys to keep from having different color panels. The thing is, I am goint to probably have the car aprat when it is painted. It has a fiberglass one piece front end (removable hood) and glass doors. The front edge of the doors has a flange that goes behind the front fenders, and the front end has a flange that the hood sits on.
To make matters worse, I was going to paint the top candy orange and the sides candy (or Pearl) blue. with some graphics in between.
Is this going to prove too difficult to do all apart? Should I jamb it out and then paint the rest of the car assembled?
Any suggestions will be appreciated. I have done several overall jobs, but never a candy color. if I shouldn't even try, in your opinion, let me know.
Also, what HOK candy is recommended, as I know there a couple different types.
