Harley paint pointers

Hi All

I have used HOK and waterbased paints but have been asked to do a job with a tin of Harley paint. Anything I should be aware of or watch out for when using this paint..

The guy only has a quart of the stuff so dont want to waste any..

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think I read,the paint for HD is made by PPG,just mixed for specific Harley colors.Which should have the same properties as HOK.PPG and HOK have differant mixing ratios so,follow the directions closely.

Actually HD factory pack paint is PPG Acrillic Laquer, used it once and only once, it is alot cheeper to be made up by a PPG jobber in the system of your choice.
