do i need to stay with vivid black or any black work if i am only using it as a base on my streached saddle bags and fender iam doing a 5 to3 color fade of red wine pearl & gold gost pearl over top thanks

Hello,
Since you are doing a fade over the black base, you can use any color black you would like.
If the part is butted up against another part (or close to another Vivid Black part), and you have a lot of solid black base left open once you do your fade I would use Vivid Black to start with then.
