Hey guys my name is omar im 23 years of age and live in chicago illinois. Just joined the forum and am a complete newb to paint. I drive a 97 eclipse gst with tasteful mods and upgrades. I have gotten sick of paying shops to paint a bumper and what not so i decided to join this forum and learn from some true guru's. I have been reading alot on how to diy paint jobs and such, and i am eager to learn how to do it the right way.
Currently im trying to learn how to paint a front bumper so if anyone can chime in with some suggestions such as what type of primer, base, clear and etc. that i would need the information would be incredibly helpful. I cant wait to learn how to paint and learn how to do it on my own. I work on engines and stuff so why not learn how to do paint right?:bounce:
Anyways this is my intro i suppose and i hope to learn alot from everyone around here. :freak:
