i needd advice , i m new to water based paints. iv been spraying solvent based with no problem for years. thought id try autoair for the ease of cleanup and less chemicals. but when i use it it sprays like water. it spiders and even when i mist it it will take sevral hours to dry. i have tried the 4011 reducer in the reccomended ratio and several others. i also tried all the fantastic future, windex, glyrcen, homemixes also with sevral mix rations with none of them making a diffrence. it dosent seem to be this hard 4 other people. im spraying it with a devillbis dagr. thanks in advance for the advice.

I have used the Debeer 900 series which is a water based paint and could only spray it with a HVLP gun set to 2 bar for initial tack coat and then 1 bar for final coat. I tried using it with a standard gun but, had similar problems.

uhm, first question? I guess you do this while airbruhing? since the dagr is an airbrush..

And if you've been using uros for many years your not a beginner to airbrush eather so..
I'm using AutoAir with my Iwata hp-c .. and it takes a bit longer time to dry then the uros, sure.. but hours? To me it sounds like you're using your airbrush like a spraygun..

Will you explain your problem further?
