I just fixed some spots in a couple of pieces (bugs in the clearcoat). Repsrayed the clear, and on one ONE piece, I got lots of tiny little fisheyes on the top of the piece. :crap: Not on the sides, just the top. The other pieces are great. I'm using DCB100 and I put on a fairly heavy coat.
I cleaned with wax/grease remover, then lightly tacked. It was a new tack cloth and pretty tacky. But I did all three peces the same, and the others didn't fisheye. This was the first piece I shot that got the fisheyes. :crap:
Anyways, the damage is done. Now, can I reshoot another coat over what's down? To cover the fisheyes (they're really tiny, but there's alot of them), or, do I need to let that piece dry, sand it all down and reshoot?
If I put another really light mist coat on top of the fisheyes, let it tack, then reshoot a normal coat, will that fix it? :think1:
