You will have to find a jobber or body shop with a spectrophotometer (color camera ) to match that as there is no formula that old in the system related to Yamaha currently it only goes back to the year 2000 for the whites. I have a color camera but I'm in Wisconsin.

hi wydri thanks for your help ,i knew it would be a long shot, but i thought i would give it ago ,as with some painter keep old colour chip/codes for keep sake, i know of some paint shop here who have it but will not tell me , its so you buy the paint from them like http://www.rsbikepaint.com/en-gb/colours.php but they only use water base , if you was closer i would pop around for a cup of tea lol ,and use your spectrophotometer, but wisconsin a long way from the isle of wight thanks toms

I have to admit, yea, keeping 'some' custom painting tips secret, but a code/formula for a color of an old bike...Geeze. can't believe they won't give it to you.
I hope you find it, then post it on this forum so the world will know.
