help me choose the right paint

could any one give me some paint tips? i would like to do a black base coat with ghost flames either silver, grey, or some kinda pearl color. does anyone recomend a certain color for base coat, flames and clear coat? please keep in mind that im really broke (ha..ha...ha...)

If you’re want black base with silver ghost flames I would recommend pearl silver or pearl white. It will give you more of a ghost effect. I would also suggest just edging the flames like in this job . It’s Also a good way to save money on the paint. The black base is a lot cheaper then a metallic and if you just edge the flames you will only need a few ounces of pearl. Check out www.coastairbrush.com or www.innate.com for small quantities of paint. It will save you a lot of money on paint. Hope this helps.
