o.k. ive got a guy that wants a cowboy skull, ripping through his tailgate, ive drawn it up , just not sure of how to pull off ripped metal. any pics would help, thanks

Basically do your mural. Then mask it completely up using Auto Mask. Draw your tear away area including the tears. Cut all the way around the edge. Cut each individual tear. Spray them silver with some black and white shading.
Then mask all the way around those tears (you will be directly outside the outer edge that you first cut.
Now remove that center section, and add a nice drop shadow all the way around (this will add depth and make it look like the cowboy is deep into the paint.
