Help on Harley Tank!!

Ok Im wanting to paint it PPG New Imora Orange Pearl, for the base (which is a tri-coat) and then indy green radiance for the flames, which recommends a silver base for the flames, but i also wanted to have a silver tribal like slash weaving in and out of the flames. Where the hell do i start???LOL

Actually this is pretty easy once you figure out the border-no stripe,hand painted stripe,etc.If you want the green candy to look like the colorchip you have to use the silver base.Green candy over ogange sounds like mud.Lay down your orange tri-coat and clear it.Since the silver grafix intertwine the flames,outline both for the silver.After it flashes tape off the rest of the flames in the overlap,cover the silver stuff and candy the flames.Untape it all and reclear.
