Hey guys, Ive painted a few bikes and I have some bodywork experience (NOT A PRO), and I really need some good advice on this little mishap. I originally painted these bags about 6 months ago and I have about 8 ounces of base, pearl, and clear. Ive feathered the scratch out with 800 and the surrounding area with 1500. Here is where I need pro advice...
1. Should I paint the whole thing or can this be blended? Its a tricoat pearl HD brand (colorite).
2. Should I prime in this? Its over ABS plastic.
Its a very small area to blend so I am worrying about overspray on the surrounding sides of the bag. I know I can tape it off but am worried about a line.
Any ideas?
