Guys I havent painted a car for 20 years and have today laid some base coat and laquer. I have now realised that the base coat is a little thin in one area,can I flat down the laquer and re base the panel? your help is truly appreciated....

yes you can just scuff the clear and rebase then reclear as long as you do not cut through the clear you should have no problems.
