Hi Everyone!

I am a hobbyist, and part-time rattle canner who searches forums like this for tips on new developments in the refinish industry, and guidance on how to use them. I am a 1970's grad. of trade school auto-body repair. I haven't painted a car since "IMRON" shocked the market with it's durability and high price ($80/gal.) HECK!....ya can't buy PRIMER for THAT anymore!
Believe it or not, I've been able to produce show winning custom paint jobs on motorcycles from rattle cans, but I'm learning how to use my gun again, with the higher quality and more durable urethanes.
You folks are the PROS, so allow me to say "THANK YOU" in advance, for all that I'l sure I'll learn here!
Be safe, well and happy!

Welcome to the forum!
When I first started painting in the early 80's, yep...Imron, Amerflint, and I even think RM Lacquer...

And yep (I mean Yikes) have the prices changed. I just paid $90 for a pint of red PPG paint.

Enjoy!

Thanks Taz! I'm sure I will sharpen (or DEVELOP) my skills here. You folks offer some great advice for the pro and the (novice :goodbye:).
Here's a pic of what I've been able to pull out of a spray-can. It came out OK, but I don't expect it to last too long, given that it is DUPLICOLOR Wimbildon white, KRYLON SeaBreeze Blue, and a KRYLON clear enamel topcoat.
