This is my first and probably not my last post... today i went to by some polyester primer surfacer. I knew about Evercoat Slick Sand brand... and they was also feather fill... I was reading with the guy the description and I didn't really get the difference between the two products.

My car has 2 coats of epoxy primer on it right now and 2 coats of 2k primer... iI want the polyester primer to cover up the light sand paper straches and pin holes... and also to refine the body lines of the car. I want a good build up of the product so i can sculpt and block the car.

what do you guys think? which one of those product is the best

(P.S: i know theres other brands, its a budget issue... if not i would probably chose some Standox)

Patrick,
I've used Slick Sand, but not Feather Fill, so I can't give you a direct comparison, but here are my thoughts:

I chose SS over FF because it is easy to sand and according to the tech sheet, you can lay color directly over it.

My understanding of the FF is they recommend a primer/sealer over it, so that's more work & expense.

You can get pin holes with either SS or FF, so those will need to be addressed anyway.

I haven't used Feather Fill for a while, but like Dallas said, I do remember it being hard to work with.
We just use 5 star for our priming and use 3M flowable putty for work that is too much to fill for primer and to subtle for bondo.
