hi guys just done hok trublue paint job on a car i have some bits in the paint on the boot that i need out its under the base coat so cant sand it out so need to put a lihgt coat to hide it i was told by hok uk that if i painted over the clear that i wud kill the kolor!do you guys think this is going to happen?????????thanks der,,

Assuming you already clearcoated the car, you can try wetsanding the spot first. If you think you can get it flat, and not be able to see it when you buff it, go ahead and buff it. If not, then what you will need to do is sand the complete panel with approx 1000 grit. Then mask off that panel, blend the true blue. Then reclear that panel

DON'T try to keep that spot real small if you are blending true blue. Blend it out nice within the panel. Then clear. if you try to keep it small, you may end up with a brighter or darker bulls-eye.
