Most of the time marble is sprayed over a black. You have a red, silver, purple, blue type marble (or you can create your own).
Even if you saw pics online, there is still quite a bit of skill in it. So not only should you do test panels to see what color you would like. You'll also have to practice at it so you can get the effect to look the way you want it.
You just can't pick up a brush, wrap, a sponge, or anything else and just go to town.
You'll need to practice quite a bit, especially for a truck.

Some pics, some advice. HOK Marblelizers set quick like one minute, make sure your plastic wrap is large enough to cover your entire projects, seams show. Work with one or two other people, one to spray, two peeps to cut the plastic wrap and put it on the paint. Catch some air under your plastic wrap as you lay it, like a parachute. Large gaps in the wrap show off the Marblelizer well.
Experiment with say a dry red base with a wet candy blue. Then lay your plastic wrap.View attachment 591BlueMarble 2..jpgView attachment 590

You can get a neutral marblizer from HOK and add dry pearls to make your own color marblizer, or choose from one of the six colors they have. Also you can use the silver/white marblizer and put your choice of candy over it. Thats what i did with these.

They are all silver/white Marblizer over Black Basecoat with candy over that. Except for the blue guitar, which is silver/white marblizer over a blue basecoat with a blue candy (i think it was oriental blue from memory).

Marbelizer

Some projects. Silver helmet is base for wild cherry kandy, 5 coats. Red golf cart nose is kandy apple red over silver marble. Blue helmet is Blue/Pink Marble over black. HOK Paint. Mini bike fender is in the process of being repainted. Not happy with the marble and roughness. Wild Cherry Kandy over silver marble.
