HOK over R-M waterborne paint ?

I would like to mess around with some marblizing effects on my motorcycle tank. I live in SoCal so I can't get solvent based paint anymore so I bought some R-M waterborne paint which I have already sprayed on a different project. I e-mailed HOK with this question but they never got back to me so , can I use HOK products over the waterborne stuff ?

I personally never tried the waterborne.
Possibly you can do a large test panel or one of the other members can help you out.
