Im a nembie and Im trying to learn a bit and Ive hit a bump in the road! I layed down 131s Dupont primer then HOK Orion Silver. When I went to lay down some intercoat clear I snoticed that the silver had a crackle look to it in some spots. What did I do wrong? Did I lay the Silver on too think? Or is it my Primer? Thanks for any bit of info! Steve

my guess would be that you put too many coats of primer on top of each other without allowing for the correct amount of flash time, or your paint went on without enough flash time for the last coat of primer. Either that, or the surface wasn't completely clean before you started.

Well the surface was clean so it must have been the primer. Oh well back to sanding! Thanks for the help,Steve
