I've been checking HOK prices at Innate, and am thinking of trying a few but was wondering a few things. I've been spraying Chromabase, and with that, if i buy a pint, I add a pint of basemaker and come up with a quart of usable product(and it keeps, so the waste is nothing) Does HOK bases reduce the same way, so that a pint will also give me a quart? Also, they have the clears in kit form, so a 4oz. kit will produce 8oz, or 12 or 16? Clear, reducer, catalyst? Color me confused.

Keith, Hok base coat is reduced 2 to 1, that is 2 parts base, 1 part reducer. 8 ounces of base will give you 24 ounces of reduced base, 3/4 of a quart. the clear is mixeed 2,1,1 that is 2 parts clear, 1 part reducer and 1 part catylist. so a 4 ounce set up should give you 8 ounces ready to spray. i have priced innate and their prices arent so great in the long run. you are paying half to 3/4 of the cost of a quart for a smaller portion 4 or 8 ounces if i am not mistaken, versus 32 ounces .
