Hi,
Just got an email from Art Allred of Valspar in response to my question about HOK topcoat windows.
Several websites list HOK tech sheets indicating that the various basecoats they make have a 1 hour window before clearing or Kandy. This is incorrect. These tech sheets are out of date and the latest products have a window of 12 hours before clearing for basecoats.
A good website with up-to-date tech sheets is:

In addition, if you buy any HOK products from www.innate.com, they will include the May, 2002 HOK technical manual.
