Honeycomb Plastic

ive painted quite a few things but never something with this structure. what would be the easiest way to prep this for primer/paint?

red scotch bright, some soapy water. then degrease and go. if it's plastic, some adheasion promoter would be a good start to paint. don't get too agressive w/ your sanding b/c the plastic has a tendency to hair up after you spray it if you've put some deep sanding grooves in it.

yeah its plastic, so there is no easy was to get in all those tiny crevices?

I have heated it up a bit with heat gun so it doesnt hair up so much when sanding works really good on dirt bike fenders but i to use adheasion promoter and red scotch brite after sanding for tight areas

dont laugh!.a very low presure sand blast will work if you have access to the equpment.stay well back and just waft over it.

that light sand blasting wont make the plastic fray out?

just waft it over from about 2 feet away at low presure. i done it it works.cyas
