House of Kolor Shimrin II paint system

Has anybody tried the new Shimrin II system, and is it as good as they say it is?

I know the House of Kolor Shimrin 2 is not released yet. I have samples of all the colors, along with the new sealers and the black.
We haven't had too much time to check everything out, but I will tell you the sealer and the basecoat are definitely an improvement!

Looks like we'll have a whole new system to learn.

I look forward to it. I'm building a small bike (Cafe style) over the winter and have the paint mapped out in my mind already. Think green.

A couple of nice greens out right now...
GM Synergy Green and Hyundai Lime Rock Green.
I came VERY close to painting my Chevy C-10 I'm doing in the Lime Rock Green color.

Do any of you guys happen to know if the shimrim II is a VOC compliant paint that meets california's guidelines?

Good question. I'm not for sure.
Isn't CA all waterborne now? If so, I don't think the HOK Shimrin II would not be compliant.

as far as I know Canada is mirroring california's regulations and although waterborne is the new way out here compliant VOC solvent paint is still being sold out here and I would guess in Cali as well. I think it was D&E distributors they mentioned in there news feed that the shimrim 2 was to meet voc regulations but I could be wrong.
