how do i get started to paint flames.

I am 14 years old and i am trying to learn how to paint flames. Can anyone help me on how to get started i just bought a air brush and want to put flames on my 55 chieftan. were do i go to learn how to draw them. Thanks for taking time to read this

you can go to a book store there are plenty of books and magazines to choose from just look at the pictures of the cars/bike's etc.. with painted flames first try to copy them untill you get the feel of how they are supposed to flow,as far as how to paint your 14 and should be in school ,ask your art teacher for advice,start with paper first...
